Chapter 1: my background
So me start by filling you in on all the bits you've missed...
So I was born on 30th October 2000... and my journey started here
I had a normal childhood accept a head injury when I was 8 years old but I was happy and healthy.
But in September 2016 this kind of all changed...
I began having really bad migraines most days and I thought eating healthy and maybe trying to eat more vegan would help. (I've been pescatarian since I was 4 years old) But instead of it helping I was loosing so much weight and I knew it wasn't healthy.
So I joined the gym with two of my closest friends and it help my mental health a lot as I wasn't just sitting in bed from the minute I got home or cooking weird foods. However I didn't help with the weight lose as I was loosing more and knew I wasn't healthy and I needed my head sorted.
So in October I went to the November/December I went to the Doctors and they tried many different tablets but they just made me worse. So I was referred to the neurologist at my local hospital.
Come end of January I had my appointment and was put on the drug Pizotifen this worked a little and reduced the migraines maybe 50% so I stuck with it. Having a follow up appointment in March and some blood test everything was good.
Except the drug made me so hungry, I turned from a superfood eater to eating only carbs and sugars. With feeling extremely tired and irritated all the time I knew a change was needed again. Especially after gaining 1 and a half stone.
So I went back to the Doctors and are beginning this week to come of the drugs and go down a more natural route having my first ginger shot and smoothie in months today and have a acupuncture appointment booked Friday.
